Motivation

In todays morning meeting Inés showed us a video about motivation called The Surprising Truth About What Motivates us. It talked about how economy explains that people do their work better by motivating them with money and how this is not true in every case.

When people have to do simple, mechanical jobs then money is the first motivator. But when it comes to a job that requires creation and innovation, people cant really be motivated by money, they have other motivators, like satisfaction. This varies because people have different incentives for this kind of job.

I liked this video because it breaks the rule of money being the only thing that moves everyone.
