Euclid
today was different. We had to do the first three propositions in our notebook
in a very neatly way. I forgot my notebook though, and I had already done those
propositions many times. So Carmen told
me that she needed help with Euclid because she didn't understand, so I helped
her, and she learned and was pretty excited when we finished. I should start
charging for Euclid classes.
After Carmen
understood, I decided to take on the challenge of trying to do the fourth one
without looking at the procedure or the picture, just by looking at the first
statement. I was having trouble until Ingrid came by to help me, so it ended up
that I was able to prove that all the
sides are the same side, using proposition 3.
I only got stuck when I had to prove that the angles of the two
triangles were the same.
I still
have to work more and brainstorm a bit, but I wont give up!
