Having the Right Perspective

Lorena guided todays morning meeting. She showed us half of a video of a sermon by Joel Osteen. His sermon was about having the right perspective in life. Instead of complaining and wanting things to be over, we should enjoy life and all of its moments because we will never live them again.  I think this was a great video, specially for us, because we are always complaining about stuff; that we have to much homework, that we don't have this and we don't have that. I related this video with Celebrate What’s Right With The World. At the end, I think they both intend to give the same message.

I also liked this video a whole bunch because a couple of years ago I would watch sermons by some preachers (Joel Osteen included) to try to learn from them. I have always thought that preachers are great public speakers and I’ve always admired them for that. Hopefully in the future all MPC students will be able to talk in public like that.
